2023 is going to be the year of 365 sitcoms! A different sitcom a day! I don’t know what that means exactly. But I made a list of 365 sitcoms and gave each one a day placing them in release date order – 1949 to 2021 (nothing that debuted in 2022 made the list)
If a show had a revival or sequel series (not necessarily a spin-off), I include it as part of the same show. I included Bill Cosby's sitcoms. Even though he's controversial today, I didn't want to rewrite history and erase his sitcom work. So, while I can understand people not wanting to watch his shows, I still felt the need to include them here. Is the show that landed on your birthday one you like? (Starting off with The Goldbergs and The Life of Riley are the 1949 versions) January 1: The Goldbergs January 2: The Life of Riley January 3: The Beulah Show January 4: The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show / The George Burns Show January 5: The Stu Erwin Show (Trouble with Father) January 6: The Amos ‘n’ Andy Show January 7: I Love Lucy / The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour January 8: My Little Margie January 9: Mister Peepers January 10: The Abbott and Costello Show January 11: The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet January 12: Our Miss Brooks January 13: I Married Joan January 14: The Life of Riley January 15: Private Secretary (Susie) January 16: Make Room for Daddy (The Danny Thomas Show) January 17: Life with Elizabeth January 18: Topper January 19: The Mickey Rooney Show (Hey, Mulligan!) That’s why they “de-colorized” it. Thus, making it a revival with all new actors. To my knowledge, however, both shows have never been rerun together. **The Wonder Years would be considered a reboot and not count for this list. However, there was an episode where they made a connection to the original show making them set in the same universe. Thus, to me anyway, making it a sequel series. |

If only your parents had gotten an advanced copy of this list, they could have planned your birth accordingly.
Just out of curiousity, what's your actual birthday? Mine is December 16. I get the show Divorce. I've only seen the first season and liked it enough... but I never watched seasons 2 or 3, so I obviously didn't like it *that* much. The only plus, is that it stars Thomas Haden Church and I'm a big fan of his from Wings, Ned and Stacey, Sideways and yes, even Spider-Man 3. |

It seems like most people on Sitcoms Online prefer shows from the 1950s - 1980s (*maybe* the '90s). So, anyone born from somewhere in June to December 31 might not be too happy with the show they get. I'm one of the rare people who loves shows from all the decades.
As much as I love the older sitcoms, many more sitcoms were made per decade beginning with the '90s. The addition of first-run syndication, cable, and streaming bumps up the number of sitcoms being produced. |

I get My Favorite Martian, which incidentally, I literally just watched two episodes of. Not a favorite but its a fun show and I enjoy it, and I'll take it!
Oh, and LOL, of course Bewitched, one of my favorites, is the day after my birthday. |

I'm a huge fan of the first two Spider-Man movies. They're still my all-time favorite comic book films. When I watched Spider-Man 3 in the theater, I hated it. But over the years, I've come around to kind of liking it. It's filled with flaws, no doubt. But I still get enjoyment out of watching it.

Yeah, that's kind of how I feel about My Favorite Martian. It's not my favorite but it's alright. My dad really seems to like it.

Ray Walston is excellent on My Favorite Martian. But Bill Bixby overacts, he was more likeable on The Courtship of Eddie's Father. I watched a lot of the first cycle when it premiered on Antenna TV. But once the second cycle came, I lost interest and didn't want to keep watching.

February 26: Please Don’t Eat the Daisies
I get one of my favorites on my birthday. It's too bad it hasn't aired anywhere for many years. I know people would like it. |

Who needs Decades Binge with this list! I wonder how many of these shows are streaming. One could do their own "Decades Binge".
