Default My Car......

Well this morning at 7:30 am these 2 dogs woke me up barking. I could here them barking through my window. I got up to look outide these dogs were scratching my car all to pieces. I went to grab my belt off of my skirt and ran outside with my belt and chased them to my neighbors yard. They scratched my car all to heck. The front is scratched up pretty bad. So is the passengers side. The drivers side is scratched up a little. My mom thinks my car is ruined.

Default Freakish occurence.....

I am so sorry about your car.

I know this may sound dumb, but maybe something was wrong with the car. Let me see if I can explain this without sounding like a total dork or scaring everybody to death. I'm sure people on the boards have heard about freak occurences that prevent a tragedy. Maybe the dogs had a feeling something was wrong with the car and did that to prevent you from driving it? I'll shut up now because I know this post sounds dumb.

Again, I'm sorry about your car.

Good. If you thought what I said was sane, maybe others will think the same thing. I do expect a few to say that I've been watching too many episodes of the Twilight Zone, and that is just entirely possible too.

I never thought of that, but it could be. Why in the world were the dogs scratching the car???? In all my born dayz, Ive never heard of that! Jessica, did you have food or something in the car? Or maybe another animal crawled up in the engine or something. Well, I'm not gonna speculate. Another thing, Why can't people keep their damn dogs on their own property?!?!!!!! When we had dogs, they either stayed in the house, or in their pen.

I am very sorry about your car. That is weird what those dogs did!!!! Let us know if you find out why they did that.

Wow that sucks about your car. I hope you can get it fixed.
I hate it when people let their animals go loose in the neighborhood.

Find the idiots who own the dogs and demand that they pay for the damage. If they refuse you are well within your rights to take them to court. You'd win - I've seen this kind of thing before.
I am sick of dog owners who refuse to keep the animals under control. The family accross the road from me have 2 large dogs which bark constantly, day and night. My neighbours frequently leave the dogs alone in the house - usually till around 1 or 2 in the morning - and I have to try'n sleep with these mangy animals barking their heads off untill the wee small hours! My neighbours refuse to listen to my complaints and I'm at the end of my rope. I have even contemplated taking the dogs and handing them into the local animal pound. At least then they might have a chance of being given to a family who'll actually look after them properly and I'd finally get a decent nights rest!!!

Anyway, sorry, that's my rant finished. But, like I said, you should definately demand compensation from the dogs owner.
I hope you can sort the whole thing out soon.

Did u find out why they scratched your car? I'd break out my old 20 gage on those dogs. That's how we take care of them around here. Last month, a stupid dog came up on my deck right next to my house & killed my cat. I wanted to kill the dog at 1st, but I realized it wasn't the dog's fault & that the owner taught him how to kill cats (whomever sicko they might be). Now the dog's started to come back on my property, so that dog is going to the pound when I catch him, hopefully this morning.
