Avatar to Make Broadcast TV Debut ahead of Way of Water Release

The 2009 film, which holds the title of the highest-grossing film of all time, will air on ABC on December 11 at 7 p.m. ET/PT. Why I think ABC decided to air Avatar Sunday was not only to honor the release of Avatar II but to make it this year's pre-Christmas movie instead of the annual showing of The Sound Of Music that they traditionally do every December because I think once Avatar II opens it will be the talk of the town and do a lot better than Avatar did. Because it's time that a hit movie sequel takes center stage this year
