Although Archie might have made comments about certain ethnic groups and events, Archie was very funny and I learned a great deal of things as an Archie fan. I happen to identify with hime somewhat too. A good example is that I always make comments about today's society. My mother's father was exaclty like Archie. In fact, he was born 5 years after Carroll O'Conner in 1928. Plus, Archie and I know when to tell people to stifle themselves.LOL Archie was great in character. It sure would be nice if he were alive. I guess it is my turn to be other Archie in my family next to my mom's father. My baby brother is obsessed with Archie too. ANd he is 11.

I cried like a baby during every episode where he 'wasn't' Archie.
You know, the episodes where he was facing crisis...like the 'pep pill' incident and 'Shoe-Booty'!I LOVE him when he's 'cantankerous'! ![]() I hadda drink with Carroll O'Conner once...and I'll never forget it! He REALLY was cool!!! Have you seen him in the move 'Law and Disorder'? Not a critical success...but a very funny film! Funny to hear him cuss too! pontoon
