In this scenario, you’re in a hospital room for one week. It just so happens to be the week leading up to Christmas. You’re not super sick or anything but you have to remain at the hospital anyway. There’s no need to go into great detail about why you’re there as this is a hypothetical situation anyway.
You are given 10 sitcom Christmas episodes to view on your stay there. Which 10 sitcom Christmas episodes do you choose? These are the ONLY shows you're able to watch but you can watch them as often as you want. Here’s my 10: (in alphabetical order) I’m not saying these are my 10 favorite Christmas episodes. It’s just, I’d find comfort in these 10 episodes while I’m in a hospital room for Christmas week. The Andy Griffith Show – Season 1: The Christmas Story – A Scrooge-like store owner demands Andy arrest a bootlegger on Christmas Eve. Boy Meets World – Season 5: A Very Topanga Christmas – Cory’s excited about having Topanga stay with his family during Christmastime. However, he’s bothered to learn they have so many differences in their traditions. Community – Season 3: Regional Holiday Music – Wanting to have a nice Christmas with his friends, Abed tries to convince the gang to join the glee club for the holiday. Family Matters – Season 2: Have Yourself a Merry Winslow Christmas – Laura and Eddie make a bet with Urkel, who still believes in Santa Claus. Meanwhile, Carl has to buy Richie a popular teddy bear. Hazel – Season 1: Hazel’s Christmas Shopping – Hazel gets a job at a department store for Christmastime. The Honeymooners – Season 1: ‘twas the Night Before Christmas – After getting a gift for Alice that someone else has gotten her, Ralph has to find a way to get her a new gift on Christmas Eve. I Love Lucy – Season 6: Christmas Special – Lucy, Ricky, Ethel and Fred reminisce about their past via clips from previous episodes as they trim the tree on Christmas Eve. The Joey Bishop Show – Season 3: The Baby’s First Christmas – Joey wants to dress up as Santa for his son, however, Jillson always plays Santa for the tenants of the building. This causes conflict. The Monkees – Season 2: The Monkees’ Christmas Show – Mike, Davy, Micky and Peter try to instill the spirit of Christmas in a cynical, rich boy. That ‘70s Show – Season 1: The Best Christmas Ever – Eric has a Christmas party in the basement with his friends, while Red has to work at Bob’s store on Christmas Eve. |

I was in the hospital for about four days because of a throat issue. I could swallow food but the food would get stuck half way down my throat causing pain. I wasnt sick but needed help with this medical issue (and I have not had the problem since). Fortunately the hospital I was in had excellent WIFI. Like I am sure like millions of people, my phone is my television.
I had my phone and basically watched YouTube like I always do. I watch YouTube, Young Sheldon, maybe a movie or mini series if I am interested in it or documentaries. |

I can't think of 10 right off the bat, but I'd include several of the Everybody Loves Raymond Christmas episodes, both Father Knows Best - but particularly The Angel's Sweater, Dick Van Dyke - The Alan Brady Show Presents, the Benson episode where he sings O Holy Night, Bewitched - Sisters at Heart, and the one where she takes Charles Lane's character to Santa's workshop, and definitely The Honeymooners.

Adamantium is offline Did That 70's Show have more than one Christmas episode? My favorite when Red gave the boys money for a Christmas tree, but instead cut down a tree on the side of the road so they can use Red's money for beer. Get the tree home and its so huge, Kelso falls down getting it out (supposedly an accident by Ashton Kutcher the show kept in), then a bird flies out of it, and it ends when the cops come to take the tree back (gorgeously decorated). I remember the one where Red works in Bob's shop, but this was a different Christmas episode. |

Season 3 had one dealing with Hyde throwing a party and his dad having to step up and act like a father. The fourth season was the one where they were putting on a Christmas play at the church and Eric was the director. That episode also had Kelso daydream he was a character in one of those Ranken/Bass specials. The sixth season had the guys going back to their old high school for a Christmas dance and they're popular with the high school girls. And the seventh season had one where the guys took and were playing with all of the toys that had been donated to needy kids and had to return them. One of them, either season six or seven (I forget which) had Red playing Santa Claus at a store. |
