First off, I'll give thuh titles in order!:

HALLOWEEN
HALLOWEEN II
HALLOWEEN III: Season of the Witch
HALLOWEEN 4: The Return of Michael Myers
HALLOWEEN 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers
HALLOWEEN: The Curse of Michael Myers
HALLOWEEN: H20- 20 Years Later
H8LLOWEEN: Resurrection

So, which one is your favorite, which is your least favorite? Have you seen these movies? Was anyone as disappointed with part3 as much as I was?

My Favorite: HALLOWEEN

Okay first of all....I'd like to give my 2 cents on Halloween III....that was crap, plain and simple. It had nothing to do with the rest of the movies and it was a waste of my time. Not to mention that STUPID song that got stuck in my head...

Okay I LOVE Haloween Movies....at least....1, 2, H20 and Ressurection....I totally don't understand the whole point...Like how Michael is Laurie's brother.....Britt tried to explain it to me, but I'm just gonna hafta sit down someday and watch all of the movies....except for III....*gags*....

Alrighty, this is where I come in hehe. I'm a huge fan of the Halloween movie series. I will tell you right now that I dont like Season of the Witch cuz it has nothin to do with good ole mikey, I'm not a huge fan of 4-6 either, becuz #1) The mask is just too cheesy lookin and #2(and most importantly) these movies were disregarded in H20 and Resurrection. Like they never even happened. I like it this way tho, becuz otherwise it would be WAY too confusing. I dont kno which would be my favorite...I like 1, 2, H20, and Resurrection. Lets see...1 is awesome, but not enuff killings....2 had alot and picked up right where 1 left off...H20 was kinda cheezy(but I still liked it) and Laurie dies in the first 15 minutes of Resurrection(its an awesome scene, but bitter sweet for laurie)....ehhhh I'm gonna go with...all four of those cuz I cant choose! Oh and BTW Amy IM me if you still dont understand..I'll help ya out. Well thats my 69 cents.

OhMG! I am so offended by your bad remark on the 1st movie! And, you give H20 such high compliments! Why is H20 all the younger peeps' favorite one?! Whoops, sorry. Forgive me. Okay, Halloween is my favorite movie of ALL time! And I love 4, 5, and 6. The only disappoinment is Michael's house in Halloween5. If any of the movies are wrong, it's Halloween:H20 and Halloween: Resurrection for discluding parts of the movie! That's a big nono

But, I love Resurrection, H20 sux donkey balls.

Okay, here are some facts that MIGHT help yuh out!

*Laurie is Michael's sister. When Laurie was a little older, The Myers' gave her up for adoption, and the Strode's became her new family.

*The curse made Michael kill his family, and that's why he was chasing after Laurie and the people in his way from doing it.

*Jamie is Michael's niece. That's why he wants to kill her.

*Jamie has a baby in part6. Michael is the father. Eww, incest!

*After Michael killed who he wanted most, Laurie, he took a break from killing family. He first went after the innocent 20somethings in H:R, out of rage, because he felt like they were moving in on his territory, his home.

I think that's all you have to know to understand the 8 movies. I should say 7, cuz nothing special was in part3, including Michael.

Well, as most of you probably know, Halloween was supposed to be a trilogy of movies. Each movie would have a Halloween theme, but be completely different from the other two. In reality, Halloween III was supposed to be Halloween II, but because Michael Myers became so popular, they made a sequel to the first one and scrapped the other. Follow me?

Originally, I hated III because it had nothing to do with Michael or Haddonfield, but after I found out about the trilogy idea, I watched it without comparing it to 1 & 2. On it's own, the movie is actually pretty decent. It would be nice if they tied III with the rest of the franchise. For instance, the owner of Silver Shamrock belonged to the same cult as Michael.

I didnt mean anything bad about the original Halloween cuz I LOVE that movie! I think it is WAY better than H20 and I would NEVER EVER say that H20 was better than the original! I was just saying what I thought bout each of em...both movies had about the same amount of killings, but Halloween was just sooooooo much better! 4-6 are ok, but I dont like them as much cuz they are just really confusing. And like I said in IM...the Myers didnt give Laurie up for adoption, they were killed in a car wreck and then she was put up for adoption.

I'm sure you wondered how Halloween III had nothing to do with I and II. In an interview John Carpenter conducted a while back, he said that the original concept was to have three seperate Halloween movies. Each of which would be different from the other.

For instance, the first movie would be about a serial killer who escapes a mental institution. The second movie would be about a madman who creates killer masks. And finally, the third film would be a completely different Halloween story from the first two.(Which at the moment, I forget) Each of the three movies would be about different scary stories, but have the same theme.(They would all take place on Halloween)

The thing is, the first Halloween movie became so popular that the movie studio wanted a sequel to the first movie about Michael Myers. There was never meant to be a sequel about him. The second Halloween film was supposed to be the movie about the masks.

John Carpenter had the idea for Halloween III way before Halloween II. Does that help you any?

Actually, John Carpenter just wanted to do a Halloween movie that has nothing to do with Michael Myers. I mean, it's called Halloween, they don't have to stick on Michael, I like it that way, though. If you're talking about that Blockbuster thing, they just put the 1st 3 in a triology case thing cuz they're stupid...They were gonna walk away from Michael in Hall8ween but decided to make it about him in the beginning of 2001.

I know what you mean by the Michael Myers movie not originally a "Halloween" movie. But, Carpenter did talk about making a trilogy of Halloween movies completely different from one another.I'm surprised you never heard about that. The interview is online somewhere. I read about it like last year. I think it's maybe John Carpentermovies.com or Halloween.com. I definitely read that. Try to check it out.
