Hard to believe! I was in my 8th grade Math class when it was announced over the speakers. What a shock! I'll never forget that weekend!

Not to come off as rude or anything, but don’t you mean 59 years ago?

Oh thanks for the reminder and everyone that was alive and could understand it all knows what they were doing. I was 25 and walking with my mom in a department store with my 2 month old in my arms and people started to scream.....
I worry about it happening again with other political truthseekers. |

The thing I find most interesting about the killing of JFK is, that there were SO MANY entities with a plausible motive.
One book Seymour Hersh's 'Dark Side of Camelot" goes to great length to flesh out as many of them as possible....it's a great read. "Mortal Error" by Bonar Menninger is a good read too, I can fully believe the fatal shot might have been an accidental discharge of a secret service agent in the chaos that ensued after Oswald fired his shots. The ballistics data Menninger presents is hard to refute. (how do you fit a 6.65 mm bullet through a 6.0 mm hole, etc). It's also easy to fathom the cover-up if this is the factual reality. BUT, going all the way back to the very day after Kennedy was buried, my mom was certain LBJ was behind it all. And for years I just sort of scoffed that off. But having read heavily into that end the past 10 years, I'm more and more becoming a believer. He and that guy Clint Murchison could definitely have been behind it |

As if the easiest way to silence a whistleblower is to discredit them as a conspiracy nut. Just too convenient. And yes, I'm completely familiar with the argument that "we" have difficulty reconciling in our minds that such an inconsequential little pimple on our fanny could act in such a way as to have such a profound impact on our world, so we imagineer a more complex scenario more befitting the magnitude of the deed. I just don't believe that explanation is the best one. There is a reason why certain documents remain sealed to this day, and I don't think that JFK's libido is the reason why. |

Since no-one was interested in what I posted under the Route 66 forum, I came here to re-post the information from there.
Bobby Hargis, who was the motorcycle cop on the left side of the Presidential limousine, appeared in an episode of Route 66 when the show filmed episodes in Dallas over a year before that terrible day. BH had a brief speaking part in "Kiss The Maiden All Forlorn". Some of the Route 66 cast and crew visited the Carousel Club while filming in Dallas. |

I had forgotten that Jackie did marry Onasis and that she died quite young, 64. |

I thought the story that Joe Dimaggio had it done as payback for the grief the Kennedy's gave Marilyn had a certain sweet sentimentality....
