Default Thanksgiving Plans?

What plans do you have for Thanksgiving? I would probably be quietly at home, but my family is converging down to the Keys, at my son's place, so that's where I'm going to be going. Anybody else have plans for Thanksgiving?

None to speak of, quiet and simple as it's been for the last 10 yrs or so...2 gf's are bringing over Bristol Farms hot turkey buffet and I'm putting a Sara Lee pumpkine in oven as my food contribution.

What you all do, Be Thankful, not just for today for all we have and how fortunate we are to be Americans as most of us here are.

My day with us 3 gf's will be very nice...good food, good friends and some good thankful stories. So thankful Jeri has put it together..

Thanks All.

I had plans at a friend's house. Actually I'm glad it fell through, it appears--I think all the guys will be sitting around watching some football game and playing with their smartphones, while the girls had prepared the meal and will then be sitting around yakking, and also playing with their smartphones.

Just not my cup of tea. The only thing I'll miss is not having any leftovers to take home.

Just a quiet, peaceful day at home ! The Hubby and I, enjoying a traditional but small meal .

Watching the National Dog show and some football later !

Wishing you all here on S.O. a very nice day, no matter what you are all doing !

It’s just a quiet day with me, my mother, my cousin, and his family. Despite how unquiet that sounds.

Same to you, Bonnie! Does your husband’s side of the family come over for holidays often? Just curious.

The leftovers are the highlights...and a fellow on one of the talk shows I listen to eats no leftovers of any kind. He is the brunt of a lot of talk about how he throws away food that is leftover. Hard for me to imagine this. My former sil ate no leftovers either and when my daughter was married to him, she got on this horrible habit.

And smartphones all around while enjoying a great dinner and friendship. eeekkkkkk.....

Sorry you are mising nice meal stevea.

Years ago I read that if one stuffs themselves with drinks and the foods one can take in 18,000 calories.......

My dinner was "light" in quantity but ENOUGH. And a piece of pumpkin pie and I believe the sugar in the pie wiped me out, I felt horrible later in the evening.
