Default Would anyone watch a Season 6 of Martin?

Let’s say that the finale at the end of Season 5 never happened and the show was renewed for another season, is there anyone here that would watch a Season 6 of the show? Given the behind the scenes stuff that happened between Martin and Tisha, we probably wouldn’t have seen much of Gina in the 6th season either, so with that being said, I’d like to know if anyone would be in favor of Pam adopting a little boy that’s been abused like Wilona adopting Penny on Good Times to substitute for the absence as well? Just curious. Or better yet, would anyone here have been interested in watching episodes with themes like these for the 6th season

Mama Payne getting into a fender bender
Gina and Mama Payne doing jury duty together (If Tisha was able to do just one episode at least)
Tommy getting back with Pam
Old Otis’ house burning down and he ends up staying with Martin
Tommy proposing to Pam because he wants the boy to have a permanent father figure and Pam turning him down (If a situation like this happened and they explored the adoption storyline I mentioned)
Gina’s parents visiting and looking for Gina who’s gone and having to spend the night at Martin’s
Cole gets shot but ends up making it
The boy Pam adopted having to face a bully at school (Who turns out to be Roscoe)
Cole’s girlfriend Shanice getting a job at Sheneneh’s salon
Martin and the gang go on a vacation
Cole’s mother starts to date Tommy’s father
Stan returns and it is revealed that he was an old flame of Mama Payne’s

Oh, I'd like to see Shanice getting a job at the salon! She could complain about giving pedicures and polishing the toenails of nasty, stank feet!

Speaking of Sheneneh's salon, I like the episode when Gina mistakenly throws Martin's basketball tickets in the trash and agrees to work for Sheneneh in exchange for Sheneneh's good tickets.

Oh, that one is a classic. I still LOL at the part where Gina messes up Stan’s woman, Myra’s hair and everyone lies and tells her she looks great.

That was good! When Gina gave Myra a pedicure was also a riot! LOL @ Myra complaining about her foot corns!

Don’t forget she was in a rush to go back home and season her gizzards.

Were there any other ideas of mine that you liked a lot?

I like the idea of Gina and Mama Payne being in small claims court. They would drive the judge nuts!

Otis staying with Martin could be funny... has definite potential.

I don't know about Tommy getting back with Pam just so the boy could have a dad. Maybe it could work. Who knows?

If the show was renewed for another season with the writers coming up with ideas like these the 6th Season probably would’ve been much better than the 5th one. Cole getting shot might have been a little too dramatic for a silly sitcom like Martin though. And Tisha only being in one or two episodes would have definitely still stained the show.

The biggest problem was definitely the absence of Tisha Campbell.

Oh, most definitely. Martin couldn’t do the show without the co-star, the woman who played his onscreen wife. Those two WERE the premise of the show. And could you imagine if they recasted Gina? That probably would’ve been worse than that fake Harriet that was on the last few episodes of Family Matters.

Fake Harriet from Family Matters was beyond terrible! She was even worse than the fake Aunt Viv on Fresh Prince. A Gina recast would have been a disaster. Tisha Campbell is one of a kind, can never be replaced by anyone.

I find it stupid that Aunt Viv was made out to be some serene and heavenly woman when the role was recasted. Aunt Viv was known for her loud mouth and no-nonsense attitude. She was very outspoken.
