This is more of a question for present day, with seemingly hundreds of networks and streaming services. In the old days you’d just change channels if it happened.
So anyways, if a show you liked went to a service you didn’t have, would you start paying for that new service? Dump the show? Maybe wait till those new seasons hit DVD and buy those? How did/would you handle it? |

Oh yes. Probably didn't know it til years later. I watched My 3 sons on ? ABC and then it switched to CBS. Mamas Family on NBC then to syndication on ? TBS. Tons of shows switched through out the years.

Leave it to Beaver was on CBS the first year and then the rest of the seasons on ABC. But the show went off the air four years before I was born.
I probably watched TAXI the last year on NBC. The show didnt change, except for more Carol Kane (who is one of the cutest women who ever lived). |

I think the better title for this thread is shows from network to streaming. Opus is asking if people continued watching a show if it had moved to a service you would have to pay for.
Examples are “Designated Survivor” from ABC to Netflix or “The Orville” from Fox to Hulu. |

Yes, The Orville, don't have Hulu, but it came to Disney+ so I was able to watch the new season on that.

There have been several game shows that have changed networks during their run. To my knowledge, they were the original runs of Beat the Clock, The Price is Right and Let's Make a Deal.
