They are not going to change Weekdays up that drastically. They tried it in January when they brought Bachelor Father back and a month back reverted to the original. My prediction is they change Weekends and add back some Rewind show previously on Antenna like Mork and Mindy.

They always change weekends--they must have trouble with them.

I remember Antenna TV made a drastic weekday change about 4 or 5 years ago, and it didn't work out well then, either. They reverted to original a few weeks later.

One thing I could see them doing is taking Burns and Allen off the weekday schedule. It's moved around a little for a few cycles, and it's becoming a problem (maybe), like McHale's Navy was.

I thought antenna tv was deticating itself to programming from the 50’s & 60’s & 70’s? Why do they keep adding programming from rewind tv from the 80’s & 90’s? Are they under a new programming director?

I have also noticed they are getting away from family programming like Mr.Belvedere & 227 & Growing Pains & Who’s The Boss? Adding more mature programming like Wings Becker Designing Women.

What’s going on with The Burns and Allen Show & Mchale’s Navy?

I thought the Weekday schedule change back because they weren’t ready for a big launch of Bachelor Father but how it sounds it sounds like all the 50’s & 60’s programming are a flop outside of Bewitched & Maybe (Dennis the Menace & Hazel)?

Merry24, I think your suggestion on the upcoming Winter Antenna TV schedule seems alright but it’s too early for the entire Weekday schedule to be shaken up.

Thanks AMack,

I’m also hoping by that time they will be adding shows such as The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet & The Donna Reed Show & Make Room For Daddy & The Real McCoys & The Many Loves Of Dobbie Gillis & Car 54, Where are You? Returning Favorites like Mister Ed & The Patty Duke Show & The Monkees & if they can get Leave It To Beaver back!

Your right. I think they need to refocus on there Christmas Eve Schedule & New Years Eve event from 2022.

I stopped watching Antenna TV after they changed ownership and discontinued televising the shows with a full screen picture. Antenna TV now televises shows in that terrible looking, reduced size, square shape picture with black bars on all four sides of the screen. At least that's what I get on my CRT TV. Thank goodness for DVD's of classic TV shows, most of which are formatted in full screen.

I'm just glad I recorded all The Joey Bishop Show episodes from Antenna, it's probably doubtful for the show to return to the schedule and I recorded the episodes while Antenna was still transmitting with a full screen picture.

If I were Antenna, I would add Chico and the Man in January and add Diff'rent Strokes, Facts of Life and 227 back. Also Rewind should nab the rights to Night Court from LAFF.

This is probably dependent on the local channel equipment. Fortunately, here they are using standard def. equipment and it's full screen. If I had to guess, it's probably the equipment they used to use on the main channel pre-HD.

The other possibility is that it comes thru from Antenna as you describe, and the local channel here has the capability to blow it up to full-screen.

Thanks for the info, I just know that soon after the Nexstar takeover is when I stopped getting Antenna TV in full screen. That's good though if you still get it in full screen. Maybe your local affiliate hasn't yet converted from SD to HD.

I'm all for Bewitched and Jeannie in prime time or prime access -- or let Me-TV have them back.
