Default Episodes that are ripoffs from other sitcoms

Every watch an episode of a sitcom and notice it is very similar to an episode of another sitcom. Basiclly a ripoff. Well a couple of weeks ago I watched an episode of South Park named "Simpson did it". And I got the idea to post this. Tell me what episodes from a sitcom are ripoffs from an episode of another sitcom. Below are a few I noticed. Typing the name of the sitcom followed by the name of the episode. On the top is the original episode. On the bottom is the ripoff episode.

Different World "Everything must change"
Friends "The one where Rachel finds out" and "The One with Ross's New Girlfriend"

Diff'rent Strokes "The Senior Class Queen"
Saved by the Bell "Miss Bayside"

Good Times "The IQ test"
Diff'rent Strokes "Prep School"

I know that Peter Engel recycled many of his original ideas from Saved By The Bell and used them in City Guys, Hang Time, and Saved By The Bell: The New Class.

Friends has ripped off various shows this previous year spanning from "Mad About You" to "Newsradio"

One in pirticular was "TOW The Birthing Video".I can't think of the name but there was also a Mad About You episode that's basicly Worf For Word!

Plus in Season 7's Opener "TOW Monica's Thundar" it slightly rips off an episode of Newsradio where Dave and Lisa like Ross and Rachel consider Bonus Night.

Do you mind giving us episode descriptions so we oculd understand your point?

I know that "Diff'rent Strokes" ripped off that Joe Namath episode of "The Brady Bunch." Arnold and Bobby pretended to be sick so Muhammad Alie/Broadway Joe could come to their house.

I always notice that, but I can't seem to remember them right now, lol. Get back to you on that one.

P.S. I know that "Getting By" was a COMPLETE ripoff of "Kate & Allie," and "Getting By" only had two well deserved, only deserved seasons. It shouldn't have lasted longer, or shorter.

No I don't mind. Do whatever you want to get your point accross. However I know there are alot of series that are ripoffs of other series. But please keep this only to particular episodes.

Good Times "The IQ Test" and Diff'rent Strokes "Prep School" deals with an IQ test. The main characters feel they are getting scrut because of their skin color and background so they prove a point to the administrator by making him take a test about ghetto life.

Different World "Everything Must Change" and Friends "The one where Rachel finds out" and "The one with Ross's new girlfriend" basicly guy (Dwayne and Ross) chasses girl (Whitley and Rachel), girl finally wants to go out with the guy but they guy meets somebody in Asia and it is to late for the guy and the girl to become a couple though they eventully do hook up.

Diff'rent Strokes "The Senior Class Queen" and Saved by the Bell "Miss Bayside" are very self explanitory. Guy (Willis and Scretch) enter himself in a female beauty pagent.

"Three's Company" ripped off and episode of "The Brady Bunch"

The Brady Bunch 1972 Big Little Man

I think this is the episode. "Greg and Bobby get trapped in a big freezer".

Three's Company 1984 Baby, It's Cold Inside

"Jack and Mr. Furley get stuck in a big freezer".

"Kenan,Kel and Dr.Joyce Brothers get stuck in a big freezer"

Also Taina ripped off a Friends episode. In it Renee pretends to be Tiana's agent (Or Phoebe pretends to be Joey's agent).

And I bet your bottom dollar that Brady Bunch, Three's Company, and and Kenan and Kel could not have ripped off that Lucy episode.

I LOVE Lucy! It seems like almost everything we see in televison either originated from Lucille Ball or was related to her in some way. She is one of the best if not THE BEST.
