Default What If The Flintstones Were Real People? (Cartoon Recreation)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ps4fYyuBqx8

Quote:
In this fun cartoon recreation, The Flintstones are real people who live in Stone Age times. They're strange, funny, and always up for a good time.

For today's video we have prepared these Flintstones characters as real people, we have recreated them into humans and brought them to life.

Fred Flintstone is the main protagonist of the show, he is the husband of Wilma and the father of Pebbles. They live in a cozy cave in Bedrock. The reason they get into so much shennaigans is Fred's drive to improve their family's status, his ill-temper and childish tendencies complicate the easiest tasks. He has a catchphrase which can be heard throughout the show, Yabba Dabba Doo. In the show he's voiced by a few voice actors, starting with the creator Alan Reed then, Henry Corden, Jeff Bergman and John Goodman.

Wilma is the voice of reason in the show, she's wifey to Fred. Often criticizes him for getting into poorly thoughtout schemes. She's a high-strung person and sometimes gets overly emotional all of a sudden, however, you can always rely on her to bail out Fred. She's voiced by Jean Vander Pyl and Tress McNaille.

Barney Rubble is the neighbor everyone wants to have, he's best friend to Fred. Barney is the easy-going, cheerful fella that gets himself in trouble because of his bad company, however, he cares a lot about Fred and is very devoted to his wife, Betty. He's voiced by Daws Butler, Mel Blanc and Frank Welker.

Betty Rubble is the wife of Barney, out of all character's that we have mentioned so far, she's the one with less attention and character-development, she's more of a filler character. However, she's recognized to be upset whenever Barney misbehaves, gets emotional at times and is obviously more smarter than her husband, she's voiced by Bea Benaderet, Gerry Johnson and Gay Autterson.

Pebbles Flintstone is the daughter of Fred and Wilma. She appears in the show mostly in the infant form, however, she's a cute and adorable baby that loves her family and has a knack to getting into schemes. She grows up to work in marketing and advertising. She's voiced by Jean Vander Pyl and Mel Blanc.

Bamm-Bamm Rubbles is the son of Barney and Betty, he's not a biological son, he was adopted. He was dropped in a small basket and his name was written on the note, Bamm-Bamm is a very strong toddler his strength is often used as comic relief, he grows closer to Pebble and in the series, the two start dating. He's voiced by Don Mesick, Jay North and Frank Welker.

Pearl Slaghoople is the widowed mother of Wilma, she's the grandmother of Pebble. She's the classic mother-in-law, disapproving of the marriage between Wilma and Fred, she always seems to cause trouble for him, she's strict, nagging and serious. Voiced by Jean Vander Pyl, Verna Felton and Janet Waldo.

Stoney Flintstone is a new addition to the Flintstone family, he's an adopted kid. He's a one-time character that appeared in the 1993 Christmas Special. He was reported to be a horrible kid that mugged others, he switched from foster home to foster home until he found peace with the Flintstones, he's voiced by Christine Cavanaugh.

Ed Pops Flintstone is Fred's father, he's the classic grandpa, out of touch with technology and all that, he’s still hung up on his younger self, constantly tells stories of how it was in the old days to the kids.

He likes the chase of ladies! He’s voiced by Henry Corden.

Eithna Edna Flintstone is the wife of Ed and mother of Fred. She has not appeared in the original series but rather she was in the spin-off, The Flintstones Kids. She is a warm and affectionate grandmother. Edna is voiced by Henry Corden.

That’s all we had for today, we have also recreated The Simpsons characters and if you like this video, enjoy our take of The Simpsons!

I'm rewatching the original series that I watched as a kid. It's been so much fun. I'm not a big fan of remakes, and redos. I'm strictly a fan of the original series and voice actors. This was a somewhat interesting new angle though.
