Just found out my little TV Sis’, DAWN LYN (Dodie), is in a COMA and fighting for her life. She had surgery recently to remove a brain tumor. Please pray for her to have a swift and full recovery. I took Dawn out to lunch a couple of months ago. We had a great time reminiscing about our MTS days. Dawn is one of the nicest human beings I have ever known. Thoughts and prayers also go out to her husband, John, at this time. This is devastating news!

Dawn Lyn, who played young Dodie on the show for the last three seasons, has fallen into a coma and is battling meningitis, after brain surgery. Prayers for the 59 year-old former actress!

We lost M3S's Meredith McRae (Sally) to brain cancer. That Dawn should develop a brain tumor in her 50s as well

Wow, this was very disturbing news. I didn't notice this message till just today. Poor Dodie, hard to picture her now in her 50's and now seriously ill. Terrible news. I hope her all the best.

All we can do is hope. She's got a long way back even if they got all the cancer. I lost a sister to brain cancer.

Wikipedia includes the following statement for Dawn:

"Her EEG indicates she can eventually make a full recovery."

May she do just that.

Here's hoping that Dawn's "gradual progress toward recovery" keeps going strong.

She turned 61 on Jan. 11th; her brother Leif Garrett is 62.
