Benson and The Jeffersons are coming to your local channel on the Screen Gems Network starting Monday October 2nd. For those of you in the NY/NJ area, SGN is not available because WNYW took it off!

That's great!!! Last year SGN did a week of shows called BEFORE THEY WERE STARS WEEK and they showed one episode of BENSON that had Jerry Seinfeld on it. Now I can record the ones that feature Jessica Tate from SOAP as well as my other fav episodes

I am so elated to hear this news. I get The Screen Gems Network on a local station in Florida. It will be fun to see them all again.

Me too Steve!!! If we can't have SOAP on at a decent hour at least we can have BENSON. The only thing I don't like about SGN is, as I said on the SOAP messageboard, is that they don't show the episodes in order.

Screen Gems network is on cable right? I don't have cable right now but i wish i did cause i know it isn't gonna come on regular tv.

No, Screen Gems is a 1 hour syndication block airing on local TV. Benson/Jeffersons is gone now though, only Bewitched/Jeannie air now.
