I watch a lot of Price is Right on the Pluto channel; currently they are airing 1984 episodes~ Oct 2022. So instead of the usual TPIR conclusion music (after the winner of the Showcase Showdown) there was different music. Then there was an inserted Johnny Olson voiceover announcing that the 1st contestant did not receive the prize awarded because was found to meet the eligibility requirements. I'm paraphrasing this because this was quickly read with a 15 second span. It caught me off guard because I don't think this happened very often, if ever. I think TPIR showrunners/producers were careful to screen "eligible" contestants.
Anyways, I enjoy seeing these older episodes even though Pluto has lots of glitches. |

There was one time where Rod Roddy announced that due to an unspecified "pricing error which may have affected the bidding," the Top Winner and the Runner-Up were both declared to have won the Showcase after the end of the taping. While not a eligibility issue, it's still interesting to point out.
