Default What's up with VH1??

Okay so they're reunning the Rerun Show right?? NBC's show. Today I was flipping through the channels and I see RW/RR Casting Special 2001. I had to make sure I wasn't on MTV. Can't they get their own shows? Jeezus.

They're jealous that MTV is a better music station. Booyah.

I've always seen VH1 as a channel that has been targeted to an older audience. I read somewhere that they arent doing very while business wise, therefore I think they're trying to target a younger audience to get more viewers by airing older MTV shows. I dunno....the only thing I ever watch on VH1 is Behind the Music....but thats like never on anymore...

VH1 hasn't been worth watching since I was a college freshman in 1998.

I agree with you on that. It seems that VH1 doesn't play many videos either. Everytime I turn it to the channel I see another episode of Behind the Music.

MTV doesn't play any bloody videos either though!
MTV doesn't have any right to call itself Music Television cos about 90% of their programming is crappy reality shows. It's a very rare occurrance when you switch over to MTV and there's actually any music on!
I don't watch MTV or VH1 cos they both suck! But Consentida is correct - VH1 is supposed to be aimed at a more 'mature' audience.

Unless you catch Mtv around 3 or 4 in the morning thats the only time I ever see any music either. I've got it figured out though. They want you to buy the other MTV related channels, like MTV2.

I saw for myself last night about the MTV shows being shown on VH1. Anybody remember that special they had on MTV about retiring all the cheesy videos? I saw that on Vh1 last night. Maybe its a blessing in disguise. *crosses fingers and hopes for VH1 to show Beavis and Butthead*

I remember when MTV first came on. All they played were videos none of this other stuff like they have on now. I rarely even watch that station anymore.

If they MTV started to do that again I would stop watching the station. Video get annoying around the 3rd time you see them.

MTV is all I watch (besides when Maura's gonna be on like...NBC for ER or A&E for NewsRadio etc)...especially during the summer. I looooove MTV. Mom used to think it was evil but I think she's ok with it now.

MTV owns VH1, so they play MTV's old shows now.

I've kind of noticed a change in CMT too (country station). They have the little TRL wannabe called Most Wanted Live. I wish they had left that channel alone. Soon it will be polluted by more tv shows than videos.
