I haven't read the book. But do you think this book is geared more towards adults? Could it also be for a person in there later teenage years, or a young adult? Or is this book written for ppl more around MJF's age or a few years younger? I was thinking of buying it for someone who is a huge MJF fan. This person is 17 years old. Any input would be helpful. Thanks!

I think it's a great read for anybody. Even early teen readers as it tracks MJFs rise in good detail. His first show, trekking to LA, a few parts, being near bankruptcy, then literally a day or so before going back to Canada he gets "Ties" and into the funhouse he goes, hehe.
He does spend a bit too much time on his roots and moving around as a kid, but I just skipped over those couple chapters. But I basically motored through the book in about a week. Was like reading an E Hollywood Story, but of one of my favorite actors. So I'd say go for it. |
