It depends upon who's floor it is. I run a pretty tidy kitchen, so if it's my place AND we are talking about something that can be washed off (a whole vegetable, etc) then I save it and wash it off.
But any complications, and absolutely not. If I had any pets, then it would be absolutely not, under any conditions |

I just dropped a cherry tomato on the kitchen floor today. It rolled a bit and I picked it up and washed it off. But if I couldn't wash a food off, I would have to toss it. Could have dirt or hair on it. Ick.
