Those "Special Alerts" and "Roll Call" segments... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Just saw a bunch of them over the last couple of days and honestly, I think most of them are somehow worse than the regular missing or unexplained death or wanted segments. By worse, I mean in their ability to scare the crap out of me! A few were looking for lost loved ones and those weren't so bad. But all the ones involving killers were so disturbing. Like the killer of Tanya Smith.

The composite and recording of his voice... I had to keep looking away from the screen if you know what I mean.

Apparently nothing still scares like the original UM. Which one of these short segments haunted you the worst?

My favorite is the missing persons roll call from October 25, 1989 (Season 2, episode 5).

Hands down the missing persons roll call from 10/25/89.

Runners up: Shannon Smith, specifically where it was mentioned that he once stated that "seducing young girls was his hobby", and that detective from the Art Jones special alert saying, "What I want to know is, where are you, Art Jones?"

I can't remember any specific ones, but I definitely agree. They were almost always so much creepier/scarier than the regular segments.
