Season 6 episode "Otis the Artist", after the busy bodies try to reform Otis by forcing him to take up a hobby....I think it was poetic justice when he impressed upon his critics that his talents were accentuated by a little snort. Served the meddlers right, IMO.

From what I have read and heard, Hal Smith who played Otis didnt drink but he actually mostly did drunk well. Sometimes over the top but he knew how to play inebriated. One funny scene is one night when Andy and Barney were playing rummy and Otis was half drunk messing with Barney on what card to drop annoying Barney no end.
