Not to sound hypocritical but I totally disagree with my predictions. Shows like Bewitched & Hazel & Dennis the Menace & Bachelor Father & Father Knows Best & Burns and Allen & That Girl & Mchale’s Navy should be shown in the evenings primetime and late nights ESPECIALLY during Christmas time.

We were reading that Jack Benny has lots of Christmas episodes but why doesn’t antenna tv get the rights to these episodes?

I think you're the first person ever to write something and then immediately write another post disagreeing with it.

Remember, many of the Jack Benny episodes were sponsored by Lucky Strike cigarettes. The commercials were built into those episodes. I'm not sure how the rights to those show can happen based on that.

I predict the usual - 5 minutes of show; 10 minutes of commercials. More of the Camp Lejeune show.

I’m too lazy to scrutinize and compare schedules. How close did you come to the actual one (in the link below)?

lol. Thanks for checking in. Basically I feel my Christmas predictions overall we’re correct. The 50’s & 60’s Christmas episodes only air in the mornings-afternoon. While the 70’s & 80’s & 90’s Christmas episodes air in the evenings Primetime and lateNights. Yule Log at 5AM.

Although I guess they don’t have rights to the Christmas episode Bachelor Father-Deck the Halls.(1961) Since there programming is deticated to the 50’s & 60’s & 70’s why air it? Or it would air at 6:30AM (lol).

No real surprises except they cut some airrings out of the 50’s & 60’s Christmas programming like I said I thought antenna tv is deticating itself to 50’s & 60’s & early 70’s? Why are those Christmas episodes not airring in the evenings & Primetime & lateNights?

Don’t understand the choice of Soap for a Thanksgiving Marathon. Soap would of maybe been a good marathon for Valentines Day or Spring Cleaning stunt not Thanksgiving. They should of done like a Weekend of The Burns And Allen Show & The Jack Benny Program Thanks for laughs giving Weekend marathon. Considering these shows are from the 50’s antenna tv’s detication. In addition they only air in the Mornings so it’s very rare to see those shows & Thanksgiving weekend would of been a fantastic time to catch them.

New Years Eve should of had a New Year Eve Bachelor Party for a Bachelor Father Marathon once again another show from the era antenna tv is deticating itself to.Bachelor Father has not had a marathon and only airs in the mornings. Benny Hill would of been much more used For as an August/September stunt. Benny get back to school Marathon. or even when the time change happens and have a Benny Hill Change your Clocks Marathon.

Thanksgiving episodes look good & the New Years Day Marathon looks good overall.

Christmas Eve 12/24 Sat should of looked like
Eastern time slots

5AM-6AM Designing Women
6AM-7AM Wings
7AM-8AM Becker
8AM-9AM Silver Spoons
9AM-10AM E/I
10AM-11AM Family Ties
11AM-12pm Benson
12pm-1pm Barney Miller
1pm-2pm The Jeffersons
2pm-3pm Maude
3pm-4pm Archie Bunker’s Place
4pm-5pm Welcome Back Kotter
5pm-6pm Alice
6pm-7pm One Day At A Time
7pm Too Close For Comfort

A Soap marathon is fantastic as Antenna has never done one and it’s so serialized that a complete series marathon does work best! I was kind of hoping for a Designing Women marathon for New Years Eve though and is “The Ted Knight Show” referring to the later eps of Too Close for Comfort or another show he did? And when will we know anything about the January schedule? I am hoping around Thanksgiving.

Nice to see Antenna TV back on FiOS. It was out for a week or so in my area ( NYC metro area) due to a dispute on fees to carry the channel.
