Default Marlo's real hair, or a wig?

Was that Ms. Thomas' real hair or a wig in just about all episodes of the show? It looks real to me but seems I've heard it may have been a wig. I definitely like the bangs better than parted in the middle, wig or not.

I never thought about it before--but the style in the first four seasons could have been a wig--although the first season style is slightly different--maybe slightly shorter.

The parted style in the final season looks real.

She commented on it in her Television Academy interview on Youtube. It was her hair, with the exception of her bangs in the middle seasons. She cut the bangs, but the sponsor and network still wanted them, so she had to wear what she described as a “mustache” - a bangs wig. By the final season, the network was OK with her hair parted in the middle and no longer insisted on the “mustache”.

Crazy

Marlo was so adorable that she would have been fine wearing a beard

Always had a crush on Marlo. I liked her hair in the 5th season as she looked more natural.

Here are some looks at Marlo in Season 5. Her hair is attractive, the way it falls easily down across her shoulders. It's a fantasy to run your hands through that silky mane! The overall natural look is appealing, I like the center parting:

Yes, the 5th season is the BEST! If that's a wig, it's super well done.
