Avril just annoys me.
She's only just starting to break over here ('Complicated' is getting played quite a bit on MTV) and everyone's saying "Oooh you gotta see this girl, she's so cool, she's so punk, she totally rocks!" And I'm like "NO!!"
Just cos she plays the guitar and doesn't dance around in a bikini doesn't make her a 'rock star'. Her music is pure pop - there's no other way to describe it.
I call it the "Pink syndrome" because people said the same things about Pink when she first started releasing records. I mean, why do people think that these girls are "rock"? Just cos you dis Britney Spears doesn't mean you're cool (and Avril calling Christina Aguilera a "whore"? I don't like her either but that's just uncalled for!)
It's definately a case of 'Pink symdrome' - the only diffrence being that Pink has proven that she actually has some talent. Avril seems to be all mouth and no trousers, if you know what I mean.

She's just being funny saying that about singers (as you can see in my signature) she already said that Britney is doing her thing and she (Avril) is doing her thing. Her music isn't pure pop that's just ur ears hahaha I think she's a mix of punk-pop-rock. BTW Complicated is pop, she already said that and she said the rest of the songs on her album is rock. If you haven't even bought it don't knock it!

Her attitude is pretty concieted if you ask me.. I don't think Id wanna talk to her ever or anything.. she seems pretty mean. Her music is cool but I think Britney Spears is probably a lot nicer of a person.. more down to earth.
