Which one off or recurring Trek character do you believe could support a series?
I'm not talking about regular but supporting characters (no Quarks, Rikers, or Seven of Nines).
Also, I don't stream, so I can't cite/comment about characters in the newer shows. Caveat: good writing and good acting can make any show workable, no matter who the lead character is. My first nominee is from the original series and is T'Pau from the ep "Amok Time". My second nominee may violate my first rule. I considered the character to be "recurring" but was on often enough to be a "regular". If "recurring", Garak from DS9. The third nominee? From TOS, Harry Mudd. There have been Mudd-like characters in other series (Quark, anyone?) but none have supported their own series. |
