I, for one, think they're wrong. I saw one guy at the mall today that had his daughter tied up with one and she was all crawling around Target!

They're retarted...they should all be burned. Just hold onto your kids hand or put them in the buggy or something for crap's sake. My gawd.

I live in Georgia, so I don't suppose the child leashes have reached here yet. Either that or I don't get out enough. Wouldn't that be considered child abuse? To tie a leash around a child and drag it around a store? Just wondering.
Personally, if I saw a kid with a leash on I would probably look at the parents like they were a martians or something. |

There's absolutely nothing wrong with child leashes. If it keeps the kid under control without being detrimental to it's health then I'm all for it.

I don't find anything wrong with them either. Personally, I had a "leash" around me as a child, as well. And holding hands don't always work, 'cause kids tend to slip outta it, anyway.
Plus, having a leash gives a child more independence... Although it may not seem this way. They are able to wander about more on their own without a parent fearing that they'll get lost. Additionally, when you're on vacation or in the city, the last thing you want is to lose track of your three year old. |

I don't know -- I don't think I like them very much. Don't have a specific reason; just don't like them.

Personally, i don't like seeing a child on a leash...
There are however many many grown men and women I would like to see on a leash...
