I am not a religion person, but I do like to say a prayer before bedtime. As they say, it won't hurt none

It is a very quick simple prayer. I just say, "As I lay to sleep, thank you Lord for everything, for your guidance and a better tomorrow."

Golden: that is nice. I did for many yrs growing up at home with my mom and got away from it and over the years got into meditation and affirmations and I do the 2 before I fall asleep....for myself and loved ones in my life.

I usually do too. Also, when I wake up in the morning. I try to set the day in a good mood.

I say prayers every night before bed and also every day before I leave the house . Whether it is to go to work, run errands, out to do something fun , visiting etc. I always say prayers for the Lord to watch over me and my loved ones at that time and before bed!

I also say a prayer before leaving the house. I walked to work and twice almost a car ran me over when crossing the street at night. I am talking inches when the car ran by me. Always thank God for certain death avoided.

No. Wasn't there a prayer that had something to the effect. If I die before I wait ???. I don't even know the prayer but always thought a little child saying that line is frightening.

I used to say this prayer before bed when I was a little girl and yes it did scare me a little ! Made me think I might die, but relieved I would at least be welcome into heaven !
