I like them both. Especially Baskin Robbins which my family looks to eat during all times in both summertime and the holidays. I also like ColdStone too.

Baskin Robbins Raspberry Sherbet with walnut chunks was my favorite for years. Then, my work took me to this place that had a Ben and Jerry's ice cream parlor. And the "mock-ups" where they were trying out candidates for mass distribution, really spoiled me. Having a Ben and Jerry's brick and mortal store where I worked for 10 years, was murder on my waist line

I'd take either one. If I had to choose one, it would be Coldstone.

Baskin Robbins. Not a fan of Coldstone. I tried their ice cream once and it was strawberry something and it had no flavor, could hardly taste any strawberry.

My parents and I when I was a child in the 1970's would sometimes at night after dinner drive to the local Baskin Robbins for an ice cream cone and sit in the car and ate it. Did that for several years. A nice memory from my childhood.
I dont know how ice cream parlors make it now, because they are so ridiculously expensive. For the price of a single dip cone, I could eat a fast food dinner. Besides now, in the supermarket, there are now so mant different flavors of ice cream. Like Reese's Peanut Butter Ice Cream, Dove Bar Ice Cream and many others. One can pay several dollars for a tub of that stuff and enjoy at home. Or get soft serve in the fast food places with chocolate, strawberry or blueberry syrup at a reasonable price. |
