I love pumpkin pie, it's been my favorite pie since before kindergarten ....but all the seasonal "pumpkin spice" oddities .....from Cheerios to Starbucks..... really do nothing for me.

I think the pumpkin hot pies McDonalds offers annually are about the only seasonal pumpkin spice boutique item that I actually look forward to.

Pumpkin spice Oreos? no....Pumpkin spice Twinkies? no... I'm surprised no one has started offering pumpkin spice pork rinds? Or pumpkin spice marshmallows in pumpkin spice hot coco?...or pumpkin spice Pepsi?

Ohh Ohhh Pumpkin spice Mountain Dew...now THERE would be a winner!!

Dude thinks that I should lighten up, so I'm trying to be suitably superficial.

The Pumpkin spice mania does seem over done (to me) which is odd considering how much I like Pumpkin

Give me a good normal piece of pumpkin pie. I don't want or need any of all the pumpkin added to you name it. And I would never buy starbucks anything, give me a good ole regular cup of coffee which I'm drinking now. Years ago before I knew better I bought a cup of regular coffee from starbucks, but I don't like their coffee anyway,

The pumpkin spice Oreos need to return after a long absence of several years.

That flavor also really works with the frosted mini-wheats.

Look at the demographic though:
So goes it with pumpkin spice, which used to be seen as part of a lifestyle choice, a signifier of the flavor’s most ardent acolytes: women (mostly White, mostly with flawless highlights) who loved brunch and cozy sweaters and pick-your-own apple orchards and painted signs in their kitchens reminding them to dream. Now pumpkin spice season arrives like any other meteorological phenomenon. It’s here for everyone, like it or not.

No wonder that I'm not all "giggly" with the moment?
