My Brain is so swellling I'm scared!!! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I've been having headaches since June. I remember posting about my classmate, Pat, who died. Well, I went to a Dawson Creek board and told them, and one of the posters had shared a story about a girl who had a headache and at dinner time she was dead because she had meningitis .

And ever since I read that, it's been stuck on my mind and no matter how I try to forget, it still hangs on me. Pat said he complained of a headache last summer and then he had cancer .

I've been suffering headaches all this summer. I don't know if the heat is causing it or not.

Anyway, today, I felt fine, but then inside of my skull felt like it was torn and I felt a swelling of blood.

I thought I had a migraine, so I took Excedrin, but it didn't go away. My skull was swollen again.

When my mom went shopping, I was upstairs and all of a sudden my whole face started to swell, I thought I was going to die . I even ran out the door and cried for help. I felt so embarresed. My mom came home and told her that the area around my brain was swollen. She said she'll call the doctor tomorrow, but I wanted to call 911. Even now my haed is swollen. I wonder if this is part of the migraine??

I don't know what to do . I can't sleep, even though I try to. I hate this feeling, even the ice packs from school aren't working and the ice in the freezer takes too long. I don't know if I should wait till tomorrow or just call 911 right now.

I'm scared. I think this is also because Josh Ryan Evans (from Soap Opera Passions) died and I worry about my celebrities. I think I don't get enough sleep and I draw too much even though I try not to stress myself.

I hope this swelling isn't fatal. But please pray to God for me that I'll be alright. I'm sorry if I worried everyone.
It feels like alot of blood is around my brain. Even when I swallow my spit I feel the swelling.

Oh lord, I think we have teh smae thing. My head has been aching all day and I feel liek I've been walkign around all day with a knife in my forehead all day.

Wow. Nothing like that has ever happened to me. If that did happen to me, I would have called 911. Hope everything becomes better for you.

This could be caused by a number of things--stress, allergies, even a dental problem can cause headaches. You could be suffering from migraine headaches.
Please see your doctor for evaluation. I'll bet it's nothing, but it's best to play it safe. If the doctor is unsure, he'll refer you to a neurologist who will solve the mystery. I don't think it will come to that.
All this worrying isn't helping matters either.
It's not good to self-diagnose, so make that doctor's appointment. Good luck, and let us know how you make out.

Oh god how awful, I hope you'll be okay. You should see a doctor because that might lead to an anoricism your head, hopefully it's nothing.

Stress gives me headaches and stomachaches too. If I'm really worried about something, strands of my hair comes out. If I'm really, really worried about something its a combo of the 3. Lucky me.
