Default It is Too Bad Rizzoli and Isles Didn't Premiere in 2002
Then Donnie Wahlberg could have been a series regular playing Jane and Korsak's boss, he would have added more to the show than Cavanaugh. Angie Harmon still would have been able to finish on Law and Order in 2001, and Donnie Wahlberg wouldn't be committed to Blue Bloods. Rizzoli and Isles could have had the same 7 season run from 2002-2009 between those shows. And Angie wouldn't have flopped with Inconceivable and Women's Murder Club. Funny thing, Donnie's eventual Blue Bloods partner Marisa Ramirez guest starred on the Rizzoli and Isles pilot, then Donnie guest starred on episodes 2 and 3.
