Barbie stars in her first live action movie debuting in theaters 2023 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

When she made her debut in 1959 little did we know how popular this doll would become and become the bestselling toy in the world and millions of people still buy this doll today because she is still the bestselling doll in the whole wide world adored by millions of little girls and adult collectors known by one single name and that is Barbie. In 2023 a very special milestone will happen in Barbie's history for the very first time. It has been announced that Warner Bros will debut the very first live-action Barbie movie that will debut in theaters in 2023. Though it may seem like a ripoff of the Lindsay Lohan/Tyra Banks movie Life-Size at first I think the Barbie movie might show some promise if it does well. Margot Robbie will play Barbie and is really cute in the role while Ryan Gosling will play the role of Ken and I think he will bring Ken to life so well. Will Ferrell will also be featured in the movie as well. If you can count the countless animated Barbie movies released every year to her appearences in the Toy Story series I think that the new Barbie movie will gain more Barbie doll collectors to discover and learn more about her. And it's rumored that Mattel will produce this movie as well too

Hi, Bestie! I saw a preview of the upcoming live action Barbie movie. For some reason it reminded me of that movie "House Bunny". I hope it is a good movie.
BTW what other movies has Margot Robbie done?

Pardon my cynicism, by the makers may say that the movie is "live action", but my guess is that the movie will have lot of CG effects if they want the actress portraying Barbie to have the same inhuman dimensions as the doll.
