For those Batman tv show collectors out there I thought
I would mention an item connected to the television series that is worth seeking out and acquiring; the 1966 novelization of the "Batman" film starring Adam West and Burt Ward. The novel is called "Batman vs the Fearsome Foursome." I obtained it through a book dealer in Canada and believe me it is a nice tv related item. The Canadian version that I got differs somewhat from the US version in that this edition contains a photo section with black and white pictures from the film. The front cover shows Batman holding a bomb and Robin on a motorcycle; the back cover shows all four villains from the film. The book is written by Winston Lyon. On a sidenote thanks to Jenny for the heads up on the E Batman special that is coming on today. Also for those Elvis fans out there like myself on tonight's edition of 20/20 they will be featuring a rare interview with one of Elvis' former movie co-stars, Dolores Hart. What is rare about this is Miss Hart shortly after working with Elvis left show business and became a nun. |
