Default Captain Howdy

I made this post for 2 reasons...
1-To scare Kaitlyn
2-To see what people think of Captain Howdy
I personally don't see what's so scary about him. For 16 years I avoided seeing this movie, then recently when I became an Ellen Burstyn fan I saw it. Usually horror movies scary the carp outta me but this one really didn't. So what does everyone else think? (P.S.-I still think it's a great movie but all of Ellen's are great )

Why did I ever tell you where to get that pic?? Oooh, I'm such a dumbass.... that pic is not as scary as some of the other ones... but when you cover the face sides it's scary as hell.

Thumbs down

'The Exorcist' may have been scary in it's time but it's pretty tame by today's standards.
I remember when I watched it for the first time and my father sat there with me. He hadn't seen it for years and he told me about the time he first saw it and how he couldn't sleep for a week afterwards cos it scared him so much.
We both sat there laughing at it cos it was just so dumb.
It may have been scary when it was made but it's just daft now!
I am yet to see a horror movie that actually scares me. Movies can gross me out with messy death sequences but I am yet to be truly scared. If anyone can recommend a truly scary film then I would welcome the suggestion.

Well, that's really only Regan with Howdy's face mixed in with hers. I'll erm... post the real Howdy tomorrow. When it's not dark out. If you wanna see it tonite, go to www.captainhowdy.com

And Gregorio.... did you see The Exorcist? If you did, remember the scene with Regan(Linda Blair) and Chris(Ellen Burstyn) in the basement where she had the Ouija board? Chris says something like 'You need two people' which Regan replies 'No, I do it all the time' and Chris tries to put her hand on it and the thingie flies up to No and Chris says 'You really don't want me to play, do you?' and Regan says 'No, I do. Captain Howdy doesn't.' and Chris says 'Captain Howdy?' and Regan says 'I ask the questions, he makes the answers' and Chris goes 'Oh, Captain Howdy'. He's the demon who later possesses her. In The Version You've Never Seen (the digitally enhanced version), his face pops up EVERYWHERE. There's also another reference of him. When Regan is being hypnotized, they say 'Is there someone inside of you?', Regan says 'Sometimes' and they say 'Is it Captain Howdy?' and she says 'I dunno.'

Wow, this was looong.

You think that's scary.... wait till you see the REAL Captain Howdy. That's really only Linda Blair with a computer image distorted into her face. It's just the woman in my avatar when she was 12 w. a LOT of makeup.

Wow... this "real" Captain Howdy you speak of entices me. I am now curious. LOL.

That image up there is somewhat... eerie... but I'm still not going to the Captain Howdy site.

Yes, Chris, I am a chicken. And proud of it.
