The 1980's were known for introducing new styles of fashion and brought a whole new flair to what the future was gonna be for fashion trends for the coming decade. One company that was very popular to take on the new fashion trend was British Knights Footwear. If you grew up in the 80's/90's you probably owned a pair of British Knights sneakers because you saw MC Hammer promote them in the commercials where he was a spokesman. As you can see by watching British Knights commercials you can see why everybody in the 90's wore British Knights Sneakers as a fad and they were also popular parting gifts for contestants on the game shows Double Dare Fun House and Nickelodeon Guts. British Knights Footwear went bankrupt in 1994 but through MC Hammer British Knights Sneakers became a popular fashion for many people who grew up in the 80's/90's and when you see the commercials you'll understand why
