1989 Kenmore Commercial

For years we have known Kenmore as Sears's popular brand of kitchen appliances and when you have a Kenmore product you are sure to have a good quality product for years to come. In 1989 Sears debuted a new way to sell Kenmore products with a smart commercial that earned Sears a ton of money. The result the classic Crosby Stills And Nash hit Our House was used as Kenmore's official anthem. The commercial begins with a family cooking in their kitchen then the scene changes to a woman using a Kenmore washer and dryer doing laundry and all throughout the commercial Our House plays. There was the same commercial made in 1990 but extended to announce a Kenmore sale at Sears. Watching this commercial made me think at how well times have changed for the American family and there should be more commercials like this one today
