Oh gosh this is a tough one but here goes:

1."One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" 1&2
2."Sick and Tired" 1&2
3."Case of the Libertine Bell"
4. "The Break-in"
5. "It's a Miserable Life" (The Mrs. Claxton episode)

Those are my picks. I'm interested to hear what others have to say.

This was hard, but I narrowed it down to 5 I absolutely love.
1) The Way We Met
2) The Competition
3) The Days and Night of Sophia Petrillo
4) Sisters and Other Strangers
5) Ro$e Love$ Mile$ <-- that's the way it is spelled.

It's hard for me to rate the top five, but my all-time favorite one is the episode with the song writing contest!

Descriptions, not episodes...

1. When Blanche becomes a writer ("yellow balls of sunshine...")
2. Sophia gets married, and Dorothy is kicked out of the Elvis fan club ("I've just been kicked out of an honorary Elvis fan club. I'll try to pick up the pieces and go on with my life. I mean, there must be a twelve-step program for people like me!")
3. The Valentine's Day memory episode (where they go to the nudist resort)
4. Rose finds out her father is a monk/priest
5. The episode where Blanche throws a moonlight madness party.
