Following the success of Deal Or No Deal with Howie Mandel and 1 Vs 100 with the late Bob Saget NBC decided to add another game show this time about music called The Singing Bee. Though it might have been a new version of the 1970's short-lived game show Musical Chairs The Singing Bee featured contestants singing along to popular songs by guessing the next lyrics of the song much like the late Adam Wade asked contestants on Musical Chairs and the contestant who guessed the right lyrics got points. And the contestant got the chance to try for a million dollar prize. Hosting The Singing Bee was NSYNC's Joey Fatone who now is doing announcing for Family Feud and he did pretty well in his debut as a game show host. Although some people thought The Singing Bee would be a hit NBC cancelled it because of too much competition with FOX's Don't Forget The Lyrics with Wayne Brady. But a revival of The Singing Bee was made for CMT and featured a new host and now dealt with country songs

Hi, Bestie! I remember that show. Surprisingly it was pretty good. Fatone was entertaining and funny. I have not seen him yet on FF.
