Watching 4x05 Sams first Love , when Sam Calls Nell are we supposed to assume Nell went down to Acapulco to get Sam?

That's the only time we see the ocean I think in the series. Breakdance we saw some exterior shots of outdoors near an ocean but this one they had the waves crashing and such. That was probably filmed in Malibu or something.
