Ratings 1988-1989 and 1989-1990 seasons...
I don't under stand how different websites have different info on ratings.
Some say The Cosby Show was #1 5 years straight. Then some say 4 years straight. And some say 3 years straight. What's the real answer??? The discrepency lies with the 1988-1989 season and 1989-1990 when Cosby battled Roseanne for the top spot. Anybody know the REAL answer???? |

The Cosby Show ranked #1 in its 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th season. In its 6th season it tied Roseanne for #1. So if you count the tie, then The Cosby Show ranked #1 five years straight.
