Was there ever a Black Guy on Happy Days? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

What episode? What was his name? I want to say it was one of those Race Episodes to make people aware. Fonzie sticks up for him, i want to say his name is Bones. Any help would be appreciated. My coworkers say they never played the Race Episode on Happy Days.

The guy's niskname was "Sticks." But his real name was William Downey, Jr. He played in the episode "Fonzie's New Friend." The episode were Richie throws a Hawaiian Party, but no one comes because Sticks will be there. Hope this helps.

There was also the character of Tommy during the last 4 seasons, he played one of the high school kids.

Wasn't there a later episode where Al and Fonzie go to some Southern state to be in a protest or something? They have coffee with a black teenager in a diner that's only supposed to serve white people

In the episode where Postie, Ralph, and Richie perform at that outdoors party, one of the party guests was black.

I can think of three: the one in which Fonzie visits Anthony, a priest, a black person is in the audience. Also, remember #14 where Howard is best man at a black man's wedding. & "football frolics" Booker Brown was black too.
