Did anyone watch the later seasons of "Empty Nest" because Estelle Getty was one of the cast members?

Getty, but I only saw her in a few episodes. I didn't know that Estelle Getty was part of the cast, some Estelle Getty fan I am, huh? LOL Seriously though, I used to watch Empty Nest alot

She went to Empty Nest as a regular after GP went off the air. She had moved back to Shady Pines as I recall, but still visited Harry and the girls on Empty Nest fairly often.

I remember that for quite some time while she was on there she had her arm in a sling as well. I don't know what she had done, but it was written into the story line...

You might check www.imdb.com to see when she appeared on EN. They would probably have it by show.

When the Goiden Palace went off the air and ended it's 1992-1993 Season. Sophia was put on Empty Nest as a regular for the last 2 seasons from 1993-1995 This is how it was explained when Sophia arrived on Empty Nest. Sophia shows up at Harry's door saying that she missed the old neighborhood and decided to move back...and that she moved back into Shady Pines. There was never no mention at all of the Golden Palace hotel or the other girls. That's sad seeing that all this don't add up... for one on the GG the girls wanted Sophia to stay with them and i could never see the girls just let Sophia go to Shady Pines. Not in this lifetime!!

Get it lifetime?????

Estelle also appeared on an episode of another GG spin-off, Nurses, she was at a clinic with Dr Weston's daughter Carol who was expecing a baby. Blanche also appeared in an episode aswell as Rose who was a candystriper! Is Nurses shown in the US anymore? It was last shown over in the UK a couple of years ago and I managed to record the episode with Sophia/Estelle on!

I'm suprised Empty Nest is not in sydication.... It was pretty popular when it was on, it was in the top ten for 3 seasons.
