Default The Police Academy movies

To me, the movies were good from part 1-4. The rest of them were boring. Steve Guttenburg should have stayed.

The first one from 1984 was funny, two, three and four were okay and then the rest were dumb. One of the things that made the first one good was that it was a rated R movie so they could do pretty much anything they wanted, where as the other films were PG and therefor there was certian types of humor in the first film that could not have been in the sequals.

Police Academy 1-4 were very good. Part 4 is my favorite one. I bet a lot of people don't remember Sharon Stone from that one. Steve Guttenberg was the best. When he stopped appearing in them, they sucked. There's talk of another Police Academy movie. I said oh no LOL. I know Steve won't be a part of it. Michael Winslow is very funny in those movies too. He's the black dude who always made noises.

My favorites are these in order: Part 1, part 3, part 2, part4. The rest of them are butt-cheese.

They are making another Police Academy movie & everybody, including Steve Guttenberg, will be in it. I have know idea when it's supposed to hit theaters though. There was a press release about it last summer & I posted it on this board.

I love CITIZENS ON PATROL! That was a great one, but the first movie is still a classic!

Frank Welker(aka "Mr. Hollywood Voice God")

Bobcat Goldthwait cracked me up in Police Academy 3 & 4. His voice is so funny. He was funny in Burglar movie with Whoopi Goldberg also. GW Bailey cracked me up in part 4 also. Steve Guttenberg was always messing with him. Remember when Steve put some glue on GW Bailey's monophone in part 4 & it got stuck to his lips? LOL. That's good that Steve will be a part of the new Police Academy movie.

I liked 1-4, Citizen's On Patrol was the best. I loved the opening theme. Captain Mauser was funny in 2 and 3, however, I was glad they brought Harris back for Citizens.

The first one was a great. I haven't seen any of the sequels except for the last one, but that one sucked.

The only one I really and truly enjoyed was the first one.
