Default David Hyde Pierce on Sesame Street!

It looks like he'll be on the season 43 premiere on Sept 24! Here's the episode description:

In the Season 43 premiere, the Cookie Monster wants to join an exclusive cookie-appreciation club that's run by a connoisseur (David Hyde Pierce) who insists that the club's members savor cookies by looking at, smelling and nibbling them rather than gobbling them down Cookie Monster-style.

Sounds a little like Niles Crane and the wine club, doesn't it? I love the Sesame Street episodes that have celebrities on them... it's like a little something just for the parents of the preschoolers watching the show.

And in case anyone never caught The Simpsons episode with Kelsey and David, it's re-airing next week too, September 26 on FOX.

Here's the link! http://www.davidhydepierce.org/2012/...e-connoisseur/. Thanks for letting us know about the Simpsons episode too! I haven't seen it yet so I'm looking foreword to it!

Oh my gosh, did anyone catch this?? It was the cutest thing ever! Of course, that's probably because Cookie Monster is my number one favorite muppet (Ernie #2 and Kermit #3 ) and DHP is my number one favorite actor, so how could they go wrong?? But really, it was so funny... David was like a caricature of Niles except with cookies instead of wine. I loved it-- I'm glad I caught it on video so I can watch it again.

I DVR'd it of course but I only caught the very beginning. Can't wait to see it b/c the preview was absolutely hysterical! And of course how could it not be the cutest thing ever? I mean it is DHP, right?

Okay, I finally watched it and OMG it was adorable! I loved it! DHP was amazing, as usual and I honestly don't know how he did that whole 18 minute segment (Yep, I timed it!) with a straight face! It was hilarious and I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! SO cute how he 'channeled' Niles with the subtle reference to the wine club. I definitely have a new found love for Cookie Monster now, although I always loved him anyway! The very last part of his segment was priceless!

In what be my most insane idea yet, I even had an idea on how to work this segment into a Frasier crossover! But it has been a lot of fun to write!

The only reason that I knew it was 18 minutes is because I was watching on my DVR and the time bar across the bottom said so, but of course I had to take note of it! I was surprised (happily) that it was so long, though!
