Default CLIPS INSIDE: Charlotte Rae on Sesame Street

I found these on YouTube. I don't believe they've been posted here before...

These are short clips of just Charlotte's scenes. This is NOT the entire episode. So, it should be fine that I post these.

If not, though, someone please let me know. I've been a lurker forever but am still new at posting here and don't want to mess anything up.

Opening and Scene 1
A rain storm is coming.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auytut1QmWw

Scene 2
Molly slips on a puddle and decides to make a "Don't Walk Here" sign, so no one else slips like she did.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgThOLYMaLM

Scene 3
Molly's sign washes away, and someone else slips.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rF45b5OLfj4

Scene 4
Molly posts her non-washable sign, but someone else still slips.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEANdAylqeI

Scene 5 and Closing
The rain storm is over.

pfeifferobsessed and LoveMrsG, you're welcome! I had never seen Molly on Sesame Street before, so I was glad to find these clips.

LoveMrsG, thanks... and thanks! Mrs. G and Natalie are my favorites, so that's why I chose a picture of them... Though, I really like Jo too! Ah...so hard to decide... But I really wanted something with Mrs. G. I LOVE her (as do you, I see ).

Oh, yeah! My mother and I did not have the best relationship on record when she was alive (which is a major understatement) and seeing somebody like Mrs. Garrett loving and nurturing the girls and helping them to grow up really means a lot. Plus, I love Charlotte Rae's facial expressions. She must've been a dream for the directors of "Facts" to work with. Her performances were always a work of art.

Speaking of Charlotte Rae's previous roles to "Mrs. Garrett," I'll never forget in an episode of "All In The Family" where "Edith Bunker" is giving a tupperware party and she was having a little stage fright because she had to give a short one-line speech to all the women who were at her party. All she had to say was "I welcome you with open arms" but she was still really nervous. Charlotte Rae played one of "Edith's" guests and "Edith" saw Charlotte picking her nose and she messed up the line and said, "I welcome you with open noses." LOL! Can any of you guys honestly see "Mrs. Garrett" picking her nose???
