I hope everyone likes this.
Sorry if it's bad.If this offends anyone I am sorry. This was an assignment I had for school. "The Internal Light" by Sara I hold in my hand something I cannot smell, see, taste, or hear, but it lies within my heart. It costs nothing, but is worth everything. As bright as a shining star in the midnight sky, it emits a light so brilliant that it brings joy to the joyless. As grand as a symphony, this instrument is as soft as a whisper. It is something that everyone needs but not everyone has. It can be possessed by anyone but cannot be bought or sold. This has the power to brighten darkened corridors and to light the way for the lost. It serves as a beacon for the poor, sick, lonely, and homeless. Many people who have this have overcome tough situations; others have failed without it. It is the means for the weak to become strong, and without it the strong will weaken. This tool can help prevent sorrow, contempt, bitterness and mistrust in our imperfect world. It can turn the most heartless people into the most caring because of its amazing power. In times of fear, danger, and uncertainty when there is little else to trust, we must ignite this spark within ourselves to lead us from the darkness back into the light. What I hold in my hand cannot solve all of the world's problems, but it will surely provide a shining pathway toward a better tomorrow. I hold in my hand…faith. |

It's a very beautiful poem! Do you write often, or was it purely for the assignment?

Love can be a silly thing at the age of 14 But for me it's not that same a day without you drives me insane I love you for you no more or less Even if you like me the less Just as friends is fine But, oh to feel your hand interlocked with mine 1 Day is all I ask Just a simple task Give me a chance and you will see... I Was meant for you .. and you were meant for me |
