Wasn't Adam Wade also a singer too? Because he sang Take Good Care Of Her and it was a top hit. Adam also hosted Musical Chairs and worked on the development of the polio vaccine as well. Before Wayne Brady and Alfonso Ribeiro became game show stars Adam Wade started a trend of new and exciting game show hosts that are showing the unique style that today's game shows have

A sad day for game show historians since Wade was the first African American game show host. Although Musical Chairs lasted only 16 weeks, it paved away for more hosts of color, including Nipsey Russell, Ahmad Rashad who hosted Caesar's Challenge and Steve Harvey.
