In San Diego last night he died of a heart condition. He was only 20 years old. This is so sad. Heres a link to the article.

Sad NBC comment on Timmy

It sounds like they will recast Timmy. If they do this I will never watch Passions again. Josh created this role they can't recast him it would be to disrespectful imo. His last airdate was yesterday.

Actor Josh Ryan Evans passed away on the evening of August 5 at a San Diego, CA hospital due to complications stemming from a long-time congenital heart condition. Evans was 20 years old. He is survived by his mother Cheryl, his father Chuck, his older brother James Evans and his grandparents Belle and Gene Riding.

"We are deeply saddened by the sudden and tragic loss of Josh Ryan Evans. He was a truly unique talent with a remarkable spirit. He will be sorely missed by his 'Passions' family and by all of us at NBC."

Josh Ryan Evans' final airdate on "Passions" was Monday, August 5. Upon receiving news of his passing, all future episodes of "Passions" were re-edited to remove any scenes including Evans' character "Timmy." At the family's request, donations may be sent in Josh's name to the Make-a-Wish Foundation in lieu of flowers. Donations may be made via phone at 1-866-880-1382, online at www.makeawish.org or by mail to Make-a-Wish Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 29119, Phoenix, AZ, 85038-9119.

A memorial service will be held later in the week. The details of the service are still being arranged and will be made available as soon as possible.

Well I know something happened on Passions with Timmy and Charity and I think Timmy might be gone. When I first heard I watch watching E! True Hollywood Story and as usual I saw the bottom scroll but just missed the name. I had a feeling it was him when I heard the age and I cried. It's amazing how people you don't really know effect you. I know I for one am going to miss him. I remember seeing Cathy Silvers on SoapTalk was my highlight for it's run but now i'm rethinking it and seeing
Josh Ryan Evans on it was the highlight. I really hope they don't recast because I think it would be disrespectful in a way.

You have got to be kidding me. That is so cruel for them to even talk recasting and it seems even more disrespectful that they talk about recasting when Josh just died. It's cruel.

Sad Juliet Mills

Juliet Mills, Joshs sidekick on the show, will be on The Today Show tomarrow to talk about Josh. This is so sad. Juliet must be so heart broken. I hope one of these days Passions will make an episode dedicated to Josh for his work on Passions.

Sad The Christmas & New Year episodes!

Tabitha & Timmy were usually the ones who did the holliday episodes. Remember the New Year episode from 2000 and the Christmas episode from last year it was Josh & Juliet who did those episodes reminising about stuff that happen before. I don't think Juliet will be in the show that much now that Josh is gone. I'm going to miss the scenes between Tabitha & Timmy. They were the funniest duo on daytime TV in my opinion.

Just in from NBC!!!!

NEW INFO: Upon further review of previously taped episodes of "Passions," NBC has decided to air two shows, as originally scripted, featuring the late Josh Ryan Evans in his role as "Timmy." The network and the show’s producers believe these additional scenes featuring Evans, which will air Friday, August 9 and Monday, August 12, will provide a sense of closure for his fans.

A NOTE TO FANS: A special tribute to Josh is being planned here at the Passions website. Please be patient as this is a difficult time for us all. Thank you.

I know but they are doing the tribute on the website, why can't they just make an episode with all of his best scenes from Passions. They should make a tribute to him on TV not on the internet in my opinion.
