In the 1980s, MPI released Jackie Gleason Honeybloopers in a red package
https://www.amazon.com/Honey-Blooper...ps%2C88&sr=8-2 Again in a yellow package https://m.imdb.com/title/tt12105662/ Then MPI released The Honeymooners Funniest Miments in two volumes https://www.ebay.ie/itm/325003891181...UAAOSwIGxcBr8G https://picclick.com/Vintage-SEALED-...l#&gid=1&pid=1 Then in 2000, MPI released what was considered at the time was tgeir greatest Honeymooners DVD, the Very Best of The Honeymooners (not to be confused with the similarly named 2011 DVD release called Best of the Lost Episodes DVD.) It contained The Honeymooners Funniest Monents Volumes 1 & 2, Wit & Wisdom of Ed Norton and a random lost episode (Letter To The Boss (1953 version)). Each Funniest Moment Volume was a DVD extra on another Honeymooners Lost Episode DVD release that the company released in the early 2000s. Why did MPI release the complication in two different packages on VHS and why did they rerelease it again in two volumes and under a different name? Was it for monetary reasons? Now, I just bought the red release because I had hope that it would have the orange peeling scene and/or the scene where Art had to go through the window. I can tell you the red version at least has a few seconds of material that is not on Funniest Monents complications and Vice-versa. |
