One thing that I have mentioned in previous threads is the fact that "The Emergency" was the first episode of this series that I saw it its entirety. I really fell in love with the "your purse, your purse" line! I was twelve-years-old at the time. I have since learned that the busy body on the pay phone was played be the late Hazel Shermet. Even though there is not a whole lot written about her, I have done the research to find out as many factual counts of her life as I could. I found out about a bunch of other movies and series that she appeared in. However, last night I learned something new. It will take another paragraph for me to explain what I am on about.
My sister recently hooked me up to Amazon Prime. There are a lot of movies and series that I can watch. Some of them are included in my subscription and some I have to pay for. About two weeks ago, I bought the animated sitcom "Wait Till You Father Gets Home". This was a short lived series from the early seventies. Some of the readers of this post who are my age or older might be familiar with this show. After watching a few episodes, I realized that the character who the show was mainly about sounded kind of like Mr. Cunningham from "Happy Days" (played by the late Tom Bosley). After doing some research, I learned that it was, in fact that actor doing the voice. Most of the other characters were voiced my actors and actresses that I was not familiar with. However, one thing that I learned was that there were four episodes that featured a character played by our friend Hazel! I found this to be very interesting! |
